“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” –  late Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr.

As I write this it’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Every year I learn something new and inspiring about him.

Recently, I read that King struggled with depressed early on and in his later years. His words must surely be the result of what he endured and suffered through. It’s hopeful to hear that he not only survived in spite of his illness, but that he lived on to make a difference and inspire people with words we still look to for support and wisdom today.

I hope you’ll find a sense of empowerment in his quote above and our posts this week.
