Best of Our Blogs: May 7, 2019

May is Mental Health Month. Organizations are celebrating with various events such as hosting social events or organizing a community run or walk in honor of mental health. But there are small things you can do too. These are just some of my ideas.

You can take care of yourself. We cannot spread the word about awareness without healthy individuals to promote it. Finding tools and ways to heal yourself are easy and subtle ways to show that yes you can have an illness, but you can be thriving too.

Sharing your stories and listening to others can go along way in normalizing mental illness.
