It’s hard not to feel down about the state of the world today. I’m writing this on April 22, Earth Day.
If you google Earth Day 2019, you’ll see articles on climate change, and how animals and our entire species are in danger. The good news is if we face these issues head on instead of avoiding it, we can do something that will be beneficial for the world and ourselves. Doing small things like using our own bottles instead of buying plastic bottle water can make a difference so can taking care of ourselves.
When we take care of ourselves, we have more energy to take care of other things like the environment. Every little thing helps. You can start by simply reading our posts this week where you’ll learn self-care tips to deal with narcissistic parents, how to cope with making mistakes, manage a bad habit, and understand why perfectionism can be hazardous to your health. These are all indirect ways you’re healing the environment by healing yourself.
